THE ROLE

Everything you need to know

Solutions Engineer – Pre-Sales & Customer Success

Morphean is a Swiss cloud technology company and a European leader in direct-to-cloud video security, access control and business intelligence, delivered from a single platform with data held in European data centres.

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to be the technical face of Morphean to our partners and their customers across the DACH region and wider Europe. The role spans pre-sales and post-sales: you will win technical confidence during the sales cycle, then keep it through the life of the account. Working within our partner-led model alongside the regional sales team, Customer Success, Support and Product Management, you will be the person German-speaking partners call when they need a clear technical answer.

What you'll be doing

Pre-sales support: Take the technical lead with the regional sales team on qualification, solution design and platform demonstrations, showing customers how Morphean solves their specific requirement.

Technical relationship ownership: Act as the named technical contact for assigned key accounts and partners, chairing regular technical review meetings and issuing the monthly platform updates on partner knowledge base.

Regional support in German: Handle escalations and direct technical queries from German-speaking partners and customers, resolving them with Support and steering recurring requests into the formal helpdesk process.

Demonstration environments: Own the demonstration platform and partner demo accounts, configuring them for live opportunities and driving trial follow-up to a clear decision.

Training and certification: Prepare and deliver technical onboarding and new-feature training for resellers and partners, and issue certification, manuals and documentation on completion.

Account and platform configuration: Configure new customer accounts and oversee subscription structures, licensing, professional services and firmware upgrades with support internally.

Tenders and proposals: Draft technical responses to tenders and RFIs, produce German-language commercial and professional services proposals, and maintain a reusable response library.

Product feedback loop: Test new devices and features in the platform, regular feedback to Product Management, and channel customer input into the product roadmap.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a candidate who brings:

German to native or near-native level, with fluent English. Additional European languages are welcome.

Several years in a sales engineering, pre-sales, solutions or technical account management role, ideally within video surveillance, access control or an adjacent cloud technology market.

Solid working knowledge of IP video and network infrastructure: cameras and encoders, networking and remote connectivity, storage and retention, video analytics and cloud service architecture.

Credibility with mixed audiences, from integrator engineers through to product managers and senior operational stakeholders, along with experience of a partner-led or channel model.

A track record of owning long-term technical customer relationships, delivering training and demonstrations in both languages, and holding multiple accounts and open requests in parallel.

Familiarity with alarm receiving centres, cloud video analytics or SaaS licensing models would be an advantage.

Why join?

You will own the technical relationship with some of the largest security and service providers in Europe, with genuine influence over how the platform develops. Morphean is a focused team with direct access to senior leadership and product engineering, so the input you gather from customers reaches the people who act on it.

Location and Travel

This is a home-based position in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, covering the DACH region with involvement across wider Europe. Regular travel is required for partner, customer and industry engagements, with periodic visits to our Swiss headquarters.

How to apply

If you enjoy being the technical voice in a commercial conversation and want to own long-term customer relationships rather than hand them on, we would like to hear from you.

Please submit your CV along with a short covering note outlining your relevant pre-sales or technical account management experience. Applications can be made via LinkedIn or sent directly to jobs@morphean.com.

All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence. Morphean is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.

CRM ownership and data quality: Act as day-to-day administrator of Microsoft Dynamics 365, maintaining users, fields, pipeline stages, views, dashboards and reports. Maintain accurate account, contact, opportunity and partner data through cleansing, imports, deduplication, enrichment and segmentation, and support users to ensure consistent CRM usage and reliable reporting.

Sales administration and enablement: Prepare and maintain proposals, quotations, price books, tender responses, presentations, translations, case studies and sales collateral, ensuring materials are accurate, current, on-brand and version-controlled for internal teams and channel partners.

Maintain brand consistency and keep digital and marketing materials accurate and up to date.

Campaign execution and marketing operations: Plan and deliver campaigns end-to-end across email, LinkedIn/social media, digital, partner channels and events, including copywriting, design, audience selection, asset creation, scheduling, publishing and follow-up. Manage Mailchimp campaigns and newsletters, including segmentation, tagging, list management, testing and deployment.

Social media communications: Manage day-to-day company social media activity, including content planning, design, scheduling and publishing posts, monitoring engagement and coordinating company, product, customer, partner and event communications.

International partner marketing: Coordinate multi-language campaigns and content across English, French and German, managing local review and approval with country contacts. Support partner and technology co-marketing, including joint campaigns, announcements, webinars, co-branded assets, content and messaging.

Campaigns, events and marketing planning: Maintain the marketing and campaign calendar and coordinate campaigns, webinars, trade shows and events from planning through execution and follow-up. Manage briefs, approvals, invitations, target/attendee lists, communications, presentations, marketing materials and pre- and post-event activity.

Marketing performance and pipeline contribution: Track and report performance across campaigns, email, social, digital and events, including engagement, leads generated, opportunities created and influenced pipeline/revenue, using results to improve future activity.

Sales and marketing alignment: Act as a central coordination point between Sales and Marketing, ensuring activity supports commercial priorities and feeding customer, prospect, partner and market insight into campaigns, content, messaging and positioning.

What we're looking for

Two to four years of experience in sales support, sales operations, marketing coordination or business development, ideally in B2B technology and/or a channel-led environment.

Confidence working with commercial data, building and maintaining forecast and reporting files, reconciling figures across systems, and spotting errors before they reach management, as well as presenting from time to time.

Strong CRM skills. Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred; Salesforce or HubSpot experience is transferable.

Advanced Excel: pivot tables, lookups and simple models built and maintained without supervision.

Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, and with prospecting and data tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

A highly organised, detail-oriented approach, with the ability to run several workstreams in parallel without losing accuracy.

Strong written communication and the judgement to represent Morphean professionally with customers and partners.

An ownership mentality and comfort in a fast-paced scale-up where process is still being built and a willingness to build it.

Business-fluent English; French and/or German would be a strong advantage given our Swiss base and our France and DACH markets.

Why join?

This is not a back-office role. The commercial team moves fast, and this position exists to make sure every opportunity is maximised, from first outreach through to signed contract, and that the numbers behind it are right.

You will be trusted with figures that reach leadership, given direct visibility of how a European scale-up runs its commercial engine, and given the room to improve the processes you own.

Location & Working Pattern

This is a work from home position based in central Europe with regular presence alongside the commercial team. Occasional travel may be required for events, exhibitions and partner meetings.

How to apply

If you want a role where your work is visible in the company’s commercial performance, we would like to hear from you.
